Graham Evans, SPFM Chairman, receives the Triangle Trophy from Simon Earwicker Chairman Orpington Video and Film Makers

The Triangle Competition is a contest between four clubs.  This year Orpington hosted the challenge and Epsom Moviemakers, Shooters Hill Camcorder Club and ourselves battled for the most entertaining half hour of films.

As hosts three OVFM members judged the programmes, and described by OVFM as Reg “Bomber” Lancaster (President), Sam “Choo Choo” Brown (Vice chairman) and Brenda “Spot The Ball” Wheatley (Competition Officer).

The meeting was held in the All Saints Church in Orpington, and OVFM provided a buffet and, of course, the obligatory raffle - two prizes of which were won by members of our club.

Our winning programme: Second Spin by Richard and Brenda Troughton, The Glass Church by Dorothy Batten, Air Line by Graham Evans, Questions from the Bench, Club film, Longstone - Away from it All by Gerald Pecksen and Korky - A Life in film by Peter Macpherson.

The evenings running order was decided by a draw, and while the judges retired to deliberate the raffle was drawn.
